ADComms was engaged to deliver the installation of new servers and associated cabling at the Stoke and Didcot Live sites ahead of the March 2026 deadline. Alongside the installation works, ADComms was responsible for producing and managing all CDM documentation, including the Construction Phase Plan (CPP), Work Package Plans (WPP), Task Brief Sheets (TBS), Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs) and the project Quality Plan.
The project required technical precision, efficient coordination and specialist engineering expertise to meet the accelerated programme.
This technically demanding piece of work relied heavily on the skills and experience of our skilled ADComms engineers.
The team's knowledge ensured the installation was delivered safely, correctly and within the required timescales. Without this, the project risk profile would have been significantly higher, and meeting the installation dates may not have been possible.
ADComms led and delivered all engineering and documentation activities, including:
Production and management of all CDM documentation
Server installation activities at Stoke and Didcot
Daily site reporting throughout the installation period
Production and submission of ITPs, including full cable test results
This client had previously experienced delivery challenges, which was highlighted during handover, with clear direction that the successful delivery of this project was essential to establishing trust and ensuring full alignment with programme timescales.

ADComms delivered the project five weeks ahead of schedule.
A key factor in this success was the rapid production, review and submission of the CPP and WPP - completed within days of project kick off. This efficiency enabled Network Rail to advance Planned Works approvals and secure access at both sites with ample planning time.
Weekly progress reviews ensured actions were closed quickly and momentum was maintained from start to finish.
